Crafts as Art

Upon moving to Melbourne (the apparent Art Mecca this side of the equator) I have to admit that I haven’t been to many art related ventures- something especially bad for someone with a degree in Art History. This is why I was ever-so-glad to get an invitation to a friend of mines’ first, solo exhibition, amply named “Collection”.

Watching Sharon flutter around, mingling with guests; got me thing how proud of and happy for her, I was. Having a solo show is quite a feat for a young artist still shy of 25.
