The runway is often the best place to pick up on trends for next season. And when it comes to designer’s it’s usually the emerging ones that aren’t afraid to experiment. Check out some of the fabulous predictions for next season in this list.

Deconstructed garments. This seems to be a trend that is not only here to stay, but is out in full force. It was literally all over the runway this year and safe to say that the majority of designers referenced the theme in some way.

Challenging of Traditional Gender Stereotypes. Another big trend was the challenge of masculine and feminine norms.

“Ideas around male sexuality and masculinity are explored and traditional gender lines blurred in this collection that creates a discussion around how men sexually objectify women, within the confines of clothing resulting in unrealistic expectations. Conventional women’s lingerie is used and subverted, where the male form becomes the object of the gaze and gender lines merge.”    –DYLAN MCCUTCHEON-PEAT

OBVIOUSLY, this is a theme we get behind 200%. Love your stuff Dylan!
