If you've been hanging out on TikTok or Instagram lately you will know that Millennials and Zoomers are very into finding the perfect dupe.
What is a dupe you may ask? One thing that a dupe isn't, and that's a fake. For the sake of clarity, 'dupes' in this article are treated as cost effective-alternatives. None of these products are branded or claim to be other products. While we are very much in a cost of living crisis, these products make great alternatives so even if you don't have big bucks to spend these will make you look and feel like you do!
Before we get into it, please note that these are based on my opinions and personal experience. Everyone’s skin and bodies are different, and I'm not in the medical field. Some of these items have been sent to me/ Sans Pareil Online from brands to try. Some of them haven’t, and no brand has paid to be in this article. We get sent stuff and if we like it, we write about it! Also, I will mention the dupe but I'm not going to add images or links because I'm not trying to get sued:) So, let's get to it.
1. If You Love Smashbox Photo Finish Endurance Setting Spray

I am OBSESSED with this. Truly. A SPF 50 that is both light weight and a setting spray? Sign me up! Living in NZ we are treated to the worst part of the ozone layer (yay us) so if you're not using an SPF 50 then what the heck are you doing? But truth be told, I find it so difficult to find something that's very lightweight for every single day. This both sets my makeup, which I am usually far to lazy to do anyway and protects my skin AND gives a refreshing burst.

I really love this serum/primer. Natural ingredients known to boost the skin's metabolism and decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to nourish, protect and prime the skin all at once. It goes on so smoothly and just feels gorgeous. I also love that it can be mixed with the concealer for a beautiful glowing full coverage (that doesn't look oily at all - and I have combination skin!)

5. If You Love getting Filler

Yes you read that correctly, I did write filler as in injectables. What I do personally, is instead of getting filler several times a year - I get it something like every 2 -2.5 years and use products like this to keep my skin looking it's most radiant and fresh in the meantime. By now you've probably heard how great retinal/ retinol is for your skin. Retinal specifically targets signs of aging and skin elasticity. I went on a trip for 6 weeks last year, and exclusively used this product every night and my skin looked SO GOOD. This product is especially great for anyone looking to reduce wrinkles and sagging.

This is so beautiful! As soon as you open it, you can smell roses, which is one of my favourite smells in the world. Rosehip oil is said to help improve skin's elasticity, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance skin's overall tone and brightness. Fun fact, this is a favourite product of NZ supermodel, Rachel Hunter.

8. If You Love In-Spa Lymphatic Massage Treatments

This is an at home treatment that's a first of its kind (well, according to me and what I've ever tried or heard of) that delivers the benefits of our lymphatic draining, lipo-sculpting massage without a studio visit. I'm a huge fan of getting a lymphatic massage - it feels like the ultimate selfcare and helps reduce bloat almost immediately in my experience AND is a great treatment for cellulite. Exactly like the eight hour cream, Mamma J's Healing Balm works wonders on a myriad of issues you might be having. packed with powerful ingredients to soothe, heal, and protect your skin - it's great for dry skin, cuts, scars or like the picture below a graze on my partner's forearm from soccer. 11. If You Love Allies of Skin CE15 Bakuchiol Firming
Try this as a dupe : MATER beauty YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE Supercharged Glow Drops $83
This is sooooooo beautiful and consists of bakuchiol which is a plant version of retinol. I would bathe in this if I could. My skin feels and looks like glass when I use it. It's a great pick-me-up for winter. Plus. the gold tinge
