All I Want For Christmas…

Emma from Sisterhood of Style has written us a Christmas gift guide to stir some ideas for those last minute presents. As always, Emma’s picks ooze style, fun and character.

Dear Santa,

This year has been a big one, I wouldn’t normally write you a note, but I figure I believe in miracles and manifesting and I hope you receive it. I am sure there is some magic in the air.

What I have on my hit list that a few of my fellow midlifers, menopausal misfits, cancer warriors and general good eggs might like too!

Onward;

Something to Read.

Anything by Taylor Jenkins Reid.  She has me captivated by her writing and complex human emotions.  I’ve read Daisy Jones and the Six so I would simply love One True Loves or Carrie Soto is back please Santa.  Another fave is Kiwi writer Nicky Pellagrino.  I would adore her latest book “PS; Come to Italy”, this looks like the perfect beach read. https://www.nickypellegrino.com/books/come-to-italy/

Something to Do

I love a card game/board game situation and I know we could all use a laugh on Road Trips.  So I’m hankering for this fab Kiwi invented game “Get Lost” – https://www.gettinglost.co.nz/stockists/

Basically you pick a card and do whatever it says! Let’s get lost this summer Santa.

Something I need

I bet you feel this all the time Santa, but this year, rest and recuperation on the beach are going to be the best gift for me.  But I’m going to need some sun protection and a decent hat!  I’ve been eyeing up this fab hat from Auckland Based Sophie Store https://sophiestore.co.nz/collections/sun-hats/products/so-shady?variant=39958501032016

Something to wear

So Santa, we’re nearly at the end of my list and this is a special one.  While you might think I’d likely want a new dress to wear, not this year, I have enough of those.  This year, I would love a pair of special earrings.  To mark the year that’s been and to celebrate the year ahead with gusto.  I have fallen in love with these gorgeous earrings by Silk and Steel at Good Thing  #heartsforeyesfordays https://www.goodthing.co.nz/collections/earrings/products/silk-steel-heart-of-love-hoops-gold-plated

if you enjoyed this list, head over to Emma’s social media for great shopping an style tips – you will always levee with a smile.

AND if you love Emma as much as we do, read her previous article here.
