Schmood by Lola: Introduce or Elevate a Positive Emotion

Schmood by Lola is an Afrocentric luxury lifestyle brand that specialises in fashion design and styling with a mission to either introduce or elevate a positive emotion through the art of fashion.

The latest collection OSHUN is inspired by the beauty of two cultures, this collection celebrates femininity, masculinity, and all aspects of everyday life. Whether you’re looking for something bold & daring for a night out or an effortless look for an everyday style, OSHUN has something amazing for everyone. Let your unique identity shine through with our limited edition pieces that bring together the vibrant colors of Nigeria and the minimalistic vibe of New Zealand.

This collection has gradually curated itself pre covid, it consisted of the dresses Lola wanted to wear out post lockdown, the sweat suits she would lounge in, the pants she walked in and the tops that she’d wear for zoom meetings.

The recent show itself was all about celebrating Femininity, named after the Yoruba river goddess OSHUN. A reoccurring theme is the traditional head wrap reshaped into tops, skirts and male shorts, mixing heritage with new age.
