Rory William Docherty is an up-and-coming NZ designer to definitely watch. The second show of New Zealand Fashion Week: Kahuria, was the designer’s debut – and one of the most highly acclaimed. The collection had some incredible pieces, following with Fashion Month’s theme of tailored blazers to ruffles, pleating, puffed sleeves and tiered dresses, while adding his own unique touch.

Rory creates seasonless pieces incorporating textiles based on his own original hand drawn and painted artworks. I will be looking getting myself one of his Painter Shirts.
