Natalie: The day actually started weeks ago. Casting call, casting, booked, designer meet, fittings and rehearsal….
AHUA - Tāmaki Makaurau’s Underground Fashion Week. How insanely cool, and I would be part of it.

Tuesday 10th of September. Evil & Parties, produced and run by Billy.
The day started with me pacing along K rd at 11:55am, trying to get to Raynham Park Sudio (the venue), for the 12pm call time. Freshly washed hair and no make up, with my phone in one hand and a pie in the other. It’s going to be a long day and this girl loves food and needs to eat.
Checked in with Billy, I took a seat. Now it’s waiting….For hair, for make-up, for final fittings, and a run through.
Saw some familiar faces. Beautiful individuals who were here to walk and show their own unique attitude.
Communication and participation by everyone involved was 100%. Crew, models, make up artists, hair stylists, designers - everyone was doing their part to make this happen.
Once I had my hair and make up done, it was time for a proper run through. My first outfit was by Evangilixir. Line up, walk through, run backstage and get ready for outfit 2 by Taur. Another walk, then hang back and wait for the show to start. Doors opened at 6pm, the show started at 7.
