Just before I left the UK I managed to get some quality time in with my favourite photographer Kerry Curl up in Norwich. She asked me to sit for her and even though (believe it or not) I'm actually shy in front of the camera, especially when I'm not directing - I did. And it turned out perfect.
One of the many things I love about Kerry is that she's not just a photographer working on getting the perfect angels and effect (which is hard enough in itself) she is a true artist working with concept and ideas.
Sitting for Kerry, was a pretty casual event. We knew we wanted to create something quirky and camp, but not quite sure what. We put on some Dolly Parton, found a pink cowboy hat in her clothing archive and the rest was history.
