This was an exciting experience for me, I have never been to fashion week before, so it was pretty cool to have been invited to attend London Fashion Week on Robecca’s behalf. I felt very out of my depth but intrigued nonetheless.
Luckily with restrictions easing I was able to attend some events in person. It was quite surreal to finally be able to mingle and socialise with strangers. I met some interesting characters and saw some amazing street styles. Check them out on our socials.
Isabel Manns’s collection was the first event I went to and it was stunning. The collection was an aray of the most beautiful colours, patterns and materials. Every item was timeless, ageless and seasonless. The material was the most luxurious silk which hung in the most flattering way on everyone wearing the label. I would have bought every piece if I had the money but for now I will just have to dream. Maybe I’ll treat myself to a piece for my birthday.
Isabel Manns is all about sustainability which I love. Most items are reversible so you’re getting two outfits in one and without the guilt of the horrible impact that fast fashion has on the environment. Isabel’s label is the very definition of a capsule wardrobe, pieces suitable for all seasons, ages and will stand the test of time. I cannot compliment the collection enough. If that wasn’t good enough, they also donate some profits to a chosen charity each year.
Isabel is a very talented lady and I feel very privileged to have been invited to her show. It was a lovely evening of chats, good clothes and bubbles. I even went home with a goodie bag which I was very excited about. I got one of her gorgeous face masks in the goodie bag which was much appreciated as I seem to keep on losing mine!
