The 2024 Academy Awards are about to start, and the red carpet is heating up with some fun fashions this year, featuring some of our favourite names like Schiaparelli, Gucci, Versace, Elie Saab and more.
Here is a peek at some of the outfits I thought were totally Oscar-worthy:
Emma Stone rocking the peplum look, which normally I would say is so 2000-and-late and should stay in the past, but this Louis Vuitton is so chic and is the perfect gown for this queen (I'm crossing my fingers for an Oscar win for Emma tonight, I must admit!)
America Ferrara - "America, The Beautiful", with this incredible Versace gown, fit for Barbie herself! I personally don't see America winning an award tonight, but I loved her monologue in "Barbie" and think she's great.
Hailee Steinfeld wears this amazing goddess gown by Elie Saab, seafoam green can potentially be such an icky colour but this is definitely a YES!
Colmin Domingo is new on my radar right now, but wow, this outfit makes me think of ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man". Simple but classy AF and incredibly cool.
Lupita Nyong'o looks incredible in this Armani gown which is somehow both elegant and fun
Vanessa Hudgens uses her stunning Vera Wang gown as a pregnancy announcement, absolutely gorgeous!
Zendaya rocks this brilliant piece by Armani Privé which looks like it was made just for her, such a perfect match.
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson - look, The Rock, rocks. No doubt about it. He's never afraid to mix it up on red carpets with original looks, and this is another winner.
Rita Moreno - If I look a fraction as good as Rita if I get to 92, then I'll be happy! Love this Badgley Mischka gown, has a sort of vintage feel to it, perfect for the star of West Side Story. And if you haven't already seen it, you need to check out Oz (the HBO prison drama), she was awesome in it.
Lily Gladstone - all eyes will be on Lily tonight, as she could be the first Native American woman to win an Oscar. Whether or not she wins, she looks beautiful in this Gucci gown, featuring a collaboration with indigenous artist Joe Big Mountain.
Honestly this year there were so many great outfits it was hard to choose!
