Apocalypse; Pam Hogg’s Empowering London Fashion Week Tribute To Sinead O’Connor

By Sophie Beddoe

Renowned for her Avant Garde designs and fearless approach to fashion, Pam Hogg wowed us once again at this September’s London Fashion Week with her Spring/Summer 23’ collection, ‘Apocolypse,’

Models strutted down the runway in looks that were a perfect blend of punk rock and high-fashion elegance. The night began with a hint of horror featuring dark and bold colours, latex and leather straps, transitioning effortlessly into radiant, airy gowns to conclude the show.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly Hogg’s striking yellow and white dress. The piece seamlessly intertwined elements of gore and punk aesthetics while maintain an air of elegance.

The show wasn’t just a fashion spectacle but a poignant tribute to Hogg’s Idol, Sinead
O’Connor that left the fashion world in awe. Pieces featured in the new collection celebrated the singer’s fearless spirit. Statement accessories and outfits oozed rebellion and strength reminding us all that self-expression knows no boundaries.
This is not the first time Hogg’s work has been inspired by the singer. Hogg revealed that her AW23 collection, ‘They Burn Witches Don’t They was inspired by a powerful vision she had of ‘Sinead Burning at the stake like Joan of Arc.’

Hogg’s fearless approach to fashion is a reminder that in the world of design, there are no limits, and for that, she deserves all the applause and admiration she receives. We can’t wait to see what Hogg’s for us next.
