Strike a pose! Vogue's annual Met Gala is back for 2022, with part two of its theme - In America: An Anthology of Fashion, or “Gilded Glamour" (last years event was held in September 2021 as part one of the same theme, we've got you covered with our fave outfits there). As usual, there are some incredibly eye-catching outfits! Here are some of our picks:
Kim Kardashian (wearing Marilyn Monroe's ORIGINAL Happy Birthday dress by Bob Mackie).
Weather you love or hate her, this was absolutely the most draw dropping moment on the red carpet. My jaw dropped indeed. Reportedly she had to loose 16lbs in 3 weeks to fit into the dress. I'm just hoping nothing happens to it while it's out and about and goes back into a museum collection.
Blake Lively wearing Versace. Always a winning duo!
This two-part outfit was literally a gift that kept giving. Adorned with a massive bow, Blake was assisted on the steps to unravel her outfit into a masterpiece, a tribute to the architecture of New York City. AMAZING.
Janelle Morae is futuristic and glitzy in Ralph Lauren.
Alessandro Michele and Jared Leto in matching Gucci. This is hilarious and stylish, bringing some fun to the red carpet.
Billie Eilish, wearing an upcycled Gucci corset and some serious RBF.
Gemma Chan in Louis Vuitton - this outfit seems to really have divided people but we think it's quirky and interesting.
Vanessa Hudgens in Moschino - in Rihanna's absence this year, perhaps it's time for Vanessa to take over as the reigning winner of the Met Gala.
