Sidewalks of New York

Sidewalks Of New York

By Robecca Leyden

In 2012 I visited New York, U.S.A. These are images I took over two weeks while I was staying in Brooklyn.

These are shot on a OLYMPUS digital camera.

It’s hard to imagine these images are 11 years old. If they were a child they would be a pre-teen with a whole view on life formed. I remember I had just gone through a hard break-up and for the first time in a long time I was enthusiastic about day-to-day things. New York City really does have an electricity to it like no where else. My two friends and I rented an apartment in Williamsburg, and felt terribly cool. I loved being lost in the boroughs, walking eclectic streets, feeling free.
