I was lucky enough to be lent one of the new Mini Electric Coopers to test drive for a week.

I’ve never driven an electric car before but was super keen to give it a try. I was a little nervous at first with charging because I had NO idea what to do, but it’s so easy and there are free charging stations around the city (as well as paid ones that are still much cheaper than petrol). 

Some key features include:

• Easy, smooth handling to drive.
• Can quickly get up to a top speed of 250km.
• Silent electric engine.
• Impressive stereo.
• Tinted back windows for privacy.
• Sun roof.
• heated seats.
• Real time traffic information.
• Reverse camera.

These are just to name a few of my favourite aspects. There is also a great colour range!
