Natalie: I like trying out new products. I LOVE trying out new products that are vegan and made in New Zealand. I’ve known Petra for about 13 years. We met when we both worked in an office together. We clicked; we both love cats and both creative people. Looking back, we probably were out of place in a 9 to 5 job. Review: Beautifully packaged, once unwrapped they made my bathroom smell the best it’s ever smelled. No diffuser could live up to this. The bars also came with a hair storage dish!! How cool! They get their own little place in the shower shelf, which keeps everything clean and stick free. I highly recommend you get one, if you don’t have one already.
I love both the shampoo and conditioner. Both are easy to use. No long time spent lathering on your scalp, hoping to get the product in. Just a few rubs and voilà the shampoo lathers nicely and the conditioner rinses out easily, leaving your hair tangle free and soft.
Robecca: Natalie and I have very different hair. I have been colouring my hair every possible shade since I was 16 and as a result it's pretty damaged. I also have a LOT of hair. So on a particularly bad day I can look like the scarecrow or that Cynthia doll from Rugrats (you know the one). Because I also like to keep my hair quite long, the last few years I have reduced washing it to once every 10 days and try not to use heat tools. When I do wash it, I use between a quarter and half a bottle of Conditioner. Yup. I was excited to try these bars because I never have tried hair wash bars before and was super interested in how they work.

Review: I love these bars! The purple is quite strong, so it will stain any white strands you have if you don't rinse well. I recommend for platinum hair to use it once every second wash, all other blondes are fine to use every time. I love how both bars don't need to be aggressively lathered so my hair isn't tangled (and broken). Also, surprisingly they last forever! I've now washed my hair 3-4 times with these bars and the size has barely reduced. This is a great investment money wise and also with no plastic packaging - great for the environment.
Side note - Because these bars are for everyday use, if you have super thick, damaged, hair like me, I would still do a conditioning treatment every few weeks.
As you can see below, the results are awesome. My hair is smooth and shiny, with less visible damage.
