More people are being vaccinated and the world is beginning to open up again. This means more spontaneous lunch dates, cocktails, and shopping! Oh, how I have missed being able see the clothes with my own eyes and feel them running through my fingers. Sad, I know, but I am definitely not the only one who is excited to get back into the shops.
This is why, I have created a list of a few of the favourite brands, I have come across the last few months. First of all, there is Peachy Den which is such a cool brand. They have successfully bridged the gap between slinky sensuality and plush comfort. They are a brand led by women, who know what women want and sizes range from XS-L. They could be a bit more inclusive in their size range but other than that they are smashing it. The quality is amazing, and their retro style calls out to me every time.
Alexander Clementine is an environmentally friendly underwear brand. Everything they do is eco-friendly down to the very fabric they use. Their fabric is made from a seaweed blend and uses 97% less water than cotton to create. Their motto is ‘good for you, good for the planet’. It is true, not only does the material feel silky smooth, making it extra comfy, it also maintains all the natural properties of seaweed. This means that the vitamins and minerals contained within the seaweed, used to make the fabric, are absorbed through your skin. These include iron, iodine and vitamins A, C, E, & B12.
Next up, we have Manola, a Barcelona based company. Another sustainable brand, but this time accommodating all our activewear needs. Manola use regenerated nylon to make their super chic activewear, making it sustainable and luxurious. I think sometimes people are put off activewear because it lacks elegance and style but Manola have solved this problem. Their colours are such beautiful tones, and their necklines are so flattering. A great place to keep in mind for your next activewear splurge.
If you are looking for fun, trendy, and original then FOMM (Friday On My Mind) should be on your mind. They are a London based brand with so much to offer. Their collection contains clothes for both men and women and is bursting with exciting patterns and colour schemes. If you want clothing that will cheer you up, then this is the brand for you.
Finally, we have Karentino Boutique, another one that is full of colour and cheer, but for the slightly dressier occasion. Karentino Boutique is an African clothing brand and as they say themselves is bright, bold and bomb. Their designs are the definition of elegance, extravagance, and flamboyance. You couldn’t wear one and not feel regal.
I hope you all fall in love with these brands as much as I have since discovering them. They are an eclectic mix but there is a bit of something for everyone there.
