Here’s another edition of it looks like, smells like, ‘surely I can make that - but for under $100’ designer inspired, upcycled business.
I’ve been seeing a few embellished blazers around of late. Perfect for an event when you have zero idea what to wear & don’t have time to put an outfit together.
The are accessories are on the jacket.
1. Hit the Save Mart for a well made & ok priced men’s dress jacket. I chose a boss in a fabric with a slight sheen.
2. Aquire some pearl beads (or whatever blows your hair back) I got a massive pack for about $15 from Spotlight. Big jewels could be cool too.
3. Matching thread & a needle.
4. I stitched the beads on around the collar & tops of the pockets.
I dropped a few f’s & c’s getting these looking good, but got there in the end.
Cute with an asymmetric top underneath.
Fave jeans & an unexpected shoe.
Here I have on a fluffy mule I found on Aliexpress.
I also like the idea of wearing this over a really crisp white dress (think cos) with a chunky ass boot or a pair of really bare strappy heels depending on the season.
